One thing that makes me feel rather smug is when I manage to venture through my garden to dig out young seedlings. There are really plenty of them, unfortunately there are also most of the time things on the to-do list which are further on the top than digging for freebies. And that is what they are are – free plants! At least once a year I try to fill a few pots – for my own garden and to pass them on.
