After a talk with my bank manager about long-term investments, some thorough pondering about possible choices thereafter, and my sister’s and her husband’s decision to install photovoltaic panels, I opted for the latter one as well. Investing in my home, my ‘rock’, always seems to be the easiest and most sensible decision after all. The panels were installed already last year in December, and now with the days getting a bit warmer the electricians were able to pull the cables and rewire the system. It is not that I am off the grid, however on sunny days I am self-sufficient. And that feels like a very sensible decision after all!
