Snack garden

Behind the barn I have my little berry corner with raspberries, blueberries, gooseberries, redcurrants and blackberries. The blueberries however gave up this year; I don’t water them back there. So time for some new ones! Blueberries are the perfect little fruits to walk by and grab a hand full. This time I planted them in the veg garden – there is a part-shaded spot not ideal for vegetables or flowers, very heavy soil and easy access to water. I planted five varieties, hoping for a long season.
